Projects

Malawi, Africa

Current-Program_MalawiSince 1998, Ancient Path has partnered with various local leaders in different cities and villages to benefit orphaned and vulnerable children. Currently, Ancient Path partners with Malawi Chifundo Director, Moses Mtambo in Kalieka Township on the outskirts of Lilongwe. Thanks to the work of Moses, his team and generous contributors around the world, Ancient Path currently provides basic life necessities for 120 children – such as food, medical care, clothing, school supplies and uniforms, soap, mosquito nets and blankets. The children meet together with the Chifundo team twice weekly to eat nutritious food, play, learn, sing and dance. Moses and his team regularly visit the children in their homes and discuss the child’s overall progress with with their guardians. In addition, Ancient Path periodically provides necessities such maize, salt, soap and other supplies for each household. To see pictures of the children in the Malawi program click here.

Madagascar

Current-Program_MadagascarSince 1999, Ancient Path has worked alongside various local leaders in Madagascar, partnering in diverse projects to benefit children. In 2003, we began a partnership with Jonoro and Hanitra Tefy Emmanuel to reach the remote village of Anjabetrongo on the edge of the Mikea Forest in Southern Madagascar. In this harsh desert environment where every day is a struggle to survive, we currently partner in various village programs and support a school with over 160 registered students.
