January 17th is right around the corner – the evening we’ve set aside to celebrate a decade of memories and make some new ones. This informal get-together will be held at our new office space – a house, actually – once again generously donated by the Vita Mix Corporation for our use.
From 6-9 pm, we’ll watch old videos, look at old photos, and trade stories about past travels and projects, tours and shows – and remember the wonderful people we’ve met along the way. We’ll worship together, led by Jacob Wadenpfuhl, and talk about the ways God has met and changed us over these years as we’ve followed Him.
We will also tell you about our next steps – which includes a name change, as well as a return to our roots in many respects.
Please bring your favorite snack – pretzels, Tostitos & salsa, chips and dip, cookies, popcorn, or a yummy dessert – whatever you like. (FYI – we do have a full kitchen with a microwave, so we can keep the popcorn flowing all night )
We’ll provide the drinks, plates and the like. Dress is casual – since I’m sure some of us will be hanging out on the floor.
Also, feel free to bring the kids. I don’t know how much we’ll have done by the 17th, but one of the bedrooms will be a space where children can watch their own dvds, color, and play games.
