What if you could buy a beautiful piece of Tanzanite jewelry and know that the proceeds from its sale would go to redeem captives back from slaveholders in Central Africa. Would you buy it? If the proceeds from a sale of an exquisite pair of diamond earrings, or a jasper or turquoise necklace or bracelet, or a Tahitian pearl necklace went to feed hungry orphans in Nepal – would you buy them?
If your answer is “Yes”, then come and discover a ministry called Gems for Life
Saturday, June 25th
Your Hostess: Cathy Monnin
Time: 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM
Place: 6303 Brecksville Rd Independence
This ministry offers new pieces of fine jewelry set with real gemstones like diamonds, rubies, topaz, garnets, sapphires
and more set in solid sterling silver or gold. Some of these have been purchased at auction for a fraction of the market value.
We also feature one-of a kind handmade pieces crafted from semi-precious stones like turquoise, coral, carnelian, onyx, jasper, agates and lapis lazuli, or shells like mother of pearl and abalone and real salt and freshwater pearls. Some of these have been purchased directly from tribal artisans in places like China, Nepal, Tibet and Afghanistan.
100% of the profits on the sale of this jewelry is donated to organizations like “Christian Aid Mission”, and
“Christian Solidarity Intl.”, who work to help the needy around the world, especially in Asia and Africa.
We have helped build and maintain orphanages in Nepal, schools in Afghanistan, and have reunited families in the Sudan and Tanzania who were victims of the slave–trade still active in parts of Africa.
Come and participate. YOU can make a difference!
