Bring your journal or sketchbooks, your paints and pencils, whatever your medium – if you’re a dancer bring your shoes, if you’re a musician, bring your instrument – and let’s meet at the Ancient Path house on Sunday night, April 19th our monthly worship night.
Worship is meant to be a full-body experience – meaning not only that we worship God with all of our faculties and gifts, but that we all participate fully in the worship experience.
On Ancient Path worship nights we will create the kind of contemplative environment heard on our CDs, such as Come to the Waters, Face to Face and our new release Still Waters – with visual beauty added in. Come and pray, rest, sing, read, write in God’s presence – share what you’ve written, share what you’re reading. Most importantly, as a community, let’s offer Him the beauty of not only our gifts, but of ourselves.
Dress casually – you can spread out on the floor, or lean against a wall or grab a comfortable chair. We don’t have alot of room for dance, but we’ll move the tables out of the adjacent dining area.
Your kids can worship with you, bringing their own set of paints and pencils, or they can watch a video or play a game in the kids room. It’s up to you.
See you on April 19th, 6 – 8 pm, at the Ancient Path house – 8587 Usher Road, Olmsted Township. (Parking next door at Vita Mix)
Just one more thing – due to the limited amount of space, no tambourines please!:)
