Patt Wadenpfuhl, the founder of Ancient Path, has recently been published in a new book called Handbook on Thriving as an Adoptive Family. In her chapter, Patt writes candidly about life with her with her now 14-year-old Chinese daughter, Hana Jun, and the unique joys and challenges facing the adopted adolescent and family. General editors, David and Renee Sanford, have done an excellent job identifying excellent writers capable of addressing the issues at every stage of life. The book itself is an excellent resource for anyone – from parents to grandparents, from friends to those considering adoption – who loves and wants to understand a child who has experienced adoption.
