Still Waters: New Ancient Path CD

cd-cover

In a noisy, crowded and unstable world, the human spirit craves a place of retreat.  A place to slow down and breathe deeply.  A place to think clearly – and listen closely. Our new instrumental CD, Still Waters, carves out such a place, creating an environment for calm reflection, drawing the listener inward to the place of deep stillness and intimate prayer. Whether you use it as an aid to prayer and meditation, or simply play it in the background while you work in your home or office, Still Waters will create a retreat for the spirit and refreshment for the soul.

We don’t have a distribution company. Our marketing is simply word-of-mouth, so we were more than grateful last month when pastor, author and international speaker, Francis Frangipane endorsed our Ancient Path CDs. He wrote: As you might imagine, we receive many books and cds from people. A few months ago I was given two music cdsand the albums, Rivers of Living Water and Come to the Waters, have become a continual source of blessing to both myself and my wife. Maybe it’s just me, but these cds are so refreshing, so full of worship, that my heart is always enriched by their music. Listen to the samples on their website and I think many of you will feel the same.

Friends on Pastor Frangipane’s email list sent us the post, but it wasn’t long before the orders started coming in from around the world – for these two recordings and the companion vocal CD, Face to Face. A woman in China wrote to request permission to translate all lyrics and jacket copy into Mandarin and to use our music to help train local Christian musicians.

Come to the Waters has been in China for years now after we gave a CD to an underground church pastor, telling him to burn as many copies as he could distribute. A friend of ours in Italy was surprised when she heard our worship CD, no god but God, playing at a church conference she attended in Sicily.  Someone else writes to tell us the CD is in Romania. We don’t always know how they get out there, but we know they do…and we’re grateful. Our prayer is simply that they draw you closer to the One who loves you. Nothing less. Nothing more.

We’re officially releasing Still Waters at our 10th anniversary party/ Ancient Path launch on January 17th. After that you can order it online.

Suggested price is $15.

  1. Dear Ancient Path Members,

about 3 years ago I discovered your music for worship and intercession in my country, in Germany. I got both CDs “Come to the waters” and “Rivers of living water” at amazon.de – and I like to spend time listening to the music. Beautiful, originally, calm,… to enjoy and to experience about how God sounds…
I am studying musictherapy, so I like to find out more about music and healing.
I would like to buy your new CD:
Are there any possibilities to buy your new CD “Still Waters” in Europe or to download as mp3 for money?

    Be blessed,

    Simone Wolf

  2. Hello Simone, We’re glad to know that you enjoy our music! We’ve received several reports of our Ancient Path CDs being used in healing rooms and with terminally ill patients. We do believe that the loving presence of God is released through the music and that there is incredible power in this.

Regarding how to purchase our new CD…
We’re working on a new store here on the Ancient Path site where people can buy downloadable tracks/cds. This will be available later this spring. In the meantime, we are taking orders from around the world and shipping everywhere – so it is possible to order online. We will ship to Germany, no problem.

I hope you enjoy Still Waters – and please keep in touch. I’d love to hear more about your chosen field and what you are discovering about music/healing. Love and blessings! Patt

  3. My pastor introduced me to your first CD “Come to the Waters” about 4 years ago. The songs speak are a tapestry to me about how much the Lord loves and pursues His creation. May the Lord continue to inspire your created works.
